CJHRC offers numerous group counseling classes/workshops. The advantage of group counseling is that expert panelists or presenters are available to cover the topic(s). Pre-Purchase - Homebuyer Workshops
These workshops were developed to assist low- and moderate-income families who are 3-36 months away from purchasing a home and wish to get comfortable with all components of the process. Homebuyer group education classes are offered numerous times a year. What do you do when you cannot come to a CJHRC group pre-purchase program due to a scheduling or other conflict? You may want to attend one of our newest programs; "eHome America Homebuyer Education" (Spanish only). These programs are a combination of individual face-to-face and web-based homebuyer education.
Post Purchase - Non Delinquency Workshop
is an in-depth educational program offered to homeowners to ensure they remain successful in their homes.
Financial Literacy Workshops
These workshops are offered numerous times throughout the year to assist our clients with basic financial decisions and goals. Experts cover the following topics: Budgeting and Tracking of Expenses, Managing Money-Budget Basics, How to Create a Budget, 10 Financial Danger Signals, Getting a Copy of Your Credit Report, Understanding what makes up a Credit Score, How to Obtain a "free" Credit Score, Basic Credit Education and more.
